Yes, its true … I LOVE jQuery!

Just working with it makes me happy and makes most of my js problems easy to solve.

Yeah, yeah I know that jQuery isn’t the end all to beat all solution HOWEVER, it is a very nice framework.

I have used other framework libraries in the past and have even did the combined solution of many js frameworks but all it did was bloat my code So I learned a valuable lesson: "Use the framework libraries only when you need them and don’t go stir crazy with them"

You may have noticed that the gallery wasn’t working for the latest item the past few days. Well its fixed. The latest gallery item should open as expected like it did in the past. The bug was due to the recent removal of prototype and scriptaculous for the lightbox move to jQuery Lightbox. I had to come up with a solution to allow for the latest item script trigger. Wasn’t hard… just had to think about it… though these past few days I haven’t been feeling well which would explain why the swap of js framework libraries took a while.

Speaking of swapping out stuff and code cleanup… that is STILL happening this weekend of 8/5/11-8/8/11. Don’t be surprised if you see a maintenance message when you visit the site this weekend. Also I will be putting together my main computer this weekend (glorious upgrades XD) which will actually put me in a better position to get the FoxyLynn tutorial off of the friggin ground. I’m truly sorry for the start-stop-start-stop status of the comic…. just too much going on with work recently =P however we’ll get going on a regular schedule eventually.

Oh btw, the 31st of this month marks the launch of the new site design from last year. I’ll be planning something special :3 for that event.
